Perfect for long car rides!

DVDs worked great for our family road trip. I loved that the cord was long enough to allow for one screen to be placed on back of driver’s seat and the other one was on the back of the passenger seat to accommodate a rear facing car seat – both kids were happy and content for a 10 hour car ride. That right there deserves 10 stars! The remote was also handy for me to operate from the front seat. I could easily restart, change volume and turn off with out climbing in the back.

BIG screens, great quality pictures

I was a little worried because of some of the reviews, but it’s been so far, so good with us! The screens are a great size and the quality of the picture on the screen is great as well! My only complaint is all the cords hanging since the 2 screens have to be connected for both to work at the same time, but that’s to be expected. At first the picture on the 2nd screen was really fuzzy but after my husband messed with the settings, he found a different screen option that cleared it up. You may just have to mess around with it 🙂 setup was really easy and the straps for the headrests were plenty long enough! My boys are super happy.

Helps in sedan without dvd.

The family didn’t use my suv for vacation this year, instead, took the sedan. I was thinking that the kids would be bored without the movie player that was built in my truck. This not only passed the time but with 2 sets of headphones, made the 12 hour drive more fun. Huge 10 inch screens and the best part was that each kid had their own screen. Great overall product!

Great For Rear Facing Children

I have nothing but good things to say about this dvd pair. These arrived the day of our big trip so I did not have time to make sure they worked (or that I knew how to use them) but it ended up going surprisingly well. I had one on the back of the driver’s seat for my forward facing 5 year old and the other one on the back passenger side for my backwards facing 1 1/2 year old (this is why I bought them in the first place). The cord that connected the two monitors was able to reach without pulling and it was out of their way so neither of them were playing with it. The monitor connected to the dvd portion can play using batteries however, and it took us awhile to figure this out, the extra monitor can only play if the dvd monitor is plugged in to the wall or the power thing in the car. I, as the passenger was able to change the dvds easily by taking it off the headrest which is not that difficult to do but I would not have been able to do this if I was the only adult in the car. We went through the mountains, to the coast, and through a snowstorm and they never failed or skipped. It was a little difficult when both children fell asleep at night and we were able to turn off the dvd monitor with the remote (also very handy) but we were not able to turn off the additional monitor which gave off a bright blue light. It did bother my husband since it was very late and snowing but we were able to put it on the dvd home screen and that bothered him less. Overall, this dvd system, Charlie and Lola, and Wild Krattz saved our sanity when our 5 hour road trip turned into a 9 hour road trip. I would highly recommend!

Great product and excellent customer service.

Got it right away. Wife assembled it and the picture and sound on the slave player was not as good and no sound. Emailed seller and got a response within an hour! I assembled it with their advice and it works great.Kids are going to go nuts now that the 1 year old in the rear facing seat can see it on long trips. Now we can feel good about keeping her rear facing for longer and she will be safer.

DVD players work as described but Velcro straps are an issue

Nice dvd placers so far. Only complaint is the provided velcro straps aren’t big enough to wrap around the driver/passenger seat headrest. I have to strap it around the metal bars of the headrest and it hangs down quite a bit lower that I’d like. The straps aren’t small enough for the metal bars and they aren’t big enough for the headrest. For reference, I have a 2015 Ford Explorer.

Worked well for us.

We used these for the kids on a trip to Florida. I think I would give 4.5 stars as I had to change the formats to the usb video that I have, but it did play them. DVD player worked great and battery bonus is a big deal I think. (We would pause a movie and unplug it from the car so it wouldn’t drain the car battery and it would keep our place… only did that on Usb though. I think the dvd would start up from last playback. Remote works well also. You don’t have to reach around and look at the unit. Overall great purchase.

Combined with a USB or SD card, they’re awesome.

I bought these for the size and the ability to use a Memory Card vices an actual DVD. I have had these players since February 10, 2018, and have experienced zero problems. They are awesome, clear and give good sound. I’ve even purchased a 3.5 mm speaker for louder volume. I have almost every kids movie created. I’ve converted them to .AVI and saved on 2 32GB SD Memory Cards. If you read the other reviews, those people are using DVDs not the USB or SD card slot. It’s better to take the extra time to convert your movies and use either the USB or SD card slot; you will not ever experience any problems with this format and just like with DVDs, the movies start where you left off. Plus if you’re a geek like me, you cut off the credits so the next movie starts faster.

Bought this for a family road trip over Spring Break. The size and quality were great. The straps aren’t really sufficient to hold the monitors up so you might want to purchase some mounts. The slave monitor only worked when plugged into a power source which was a bit irritating, especially when the car adapter broke into pieces. Quite upsetting when you’ve got several hours to go in the car. I’d love to give this more stars but the cheap, flimsy adapter and power source issue just won’t let me do it.

Needs a longer dual power source to use both at the same time.

The main dvd screen has a good picture but the “slave” screen isn’t near as good. The color is off. The cord that connects both the audio and power to the slave screen is way too short for how I needed to use it. I had to order a longer AV cord as well as a power cord with a double end so it would connect to both screens. So i spent even more money and could have ordered a different brand. Also, the straps to attach to the headrest are not near long enough. It wouldn’t go around it, I had to lift the headrest and go through it just so it would Velcro together.
