Great item at a great price!

I am basing this review based on the fact that this is a certified refurbished unit and I knew that going in. It did not come in the original retail box. That doesn’t bother me. It came with an hdmi cable, the remote, the DVD player and the setup instructions. You will need 2 AAA batteries for the remote. Cosmetically I could not tell it was a refurbished unit. No scratches or any visible signs of previous use. I unboxed it and in about 10 minutes I had it connected to our wifi and had it logged into our Netflix and Amazon Prime account and began streaming a movie for our 4 year old. After he watched one movie via streaming he then watched one bluray DVD and 2 non bluray dvd’s. I have already ordered a 2nd one to use for our out door movie nights. The built in wifi will be great for streaming outside and of course using the blu ray for high quality movies for our outdoor movie night. I highly recommend this certified refurbished unit.

What a great deal!

This Blue-Ray DVD player is better than the Samsung I already have. It’s twice the player at half the price! It took minutes to set up and it was so easy. IMPORTANT: it comes with the HDMI cable, I was pleasantly surprised . All you need is two (2) AAA batteries for the remote. Setup is as easy as plugging it in and it will prompt you for your wi-fi password then you’re ready to access Netflix and the rest. It’s a good deal you guys.

Works wonders

In my search for a blu-ray player, I intended to avoid refurbished products and instead go for something new, but every new product I looked at had very mixed reviews and the reviews made me hesitant. It came down to an $80 Blu-ray and this one, and I am so happy with my choice!

Super compact but has all the features I need. Great buy. The internet was easy to connect and I have been streaming on Amazon ever since.

It works and it arrived perfectly packaged with the controller. I’m only using it as a blu ray player but it connects to my wifi with no issues.

Its playing all my movies fine, and connects to wifi as advertised

Its playing all my movies fine, and connects to wifi as advertised . Looks new. no blimishes. The cheaply made photocopyed owners manual made with regular printer paper and a printer that clearly was out of ink was a bit tacky. But other than that , Great product.

Overall, great purchase for the price point!

I was looking for something cheap for our bedroom TV and this was perfect! I can access our Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and Pandora accounts right through the interface. Playback for blu-rays and streaming is perfect. Not sure why people are having such a terrible time with it. Accuweather access is great too! I really like the “screensavers” available as well. Only downsides: the Opera Apps Store is a little dated, can’t find apps for HBO Go or Sling. And I do wish it had some sort of light to indicate when it’s on/off, but it’s not really a big deal at the end of the day!
