The Sony DVD player is designed to work with DVD, CD, MP3, JPEG, MPEG4 and Kodak Picture CD formats among others. It comes with support for Dolby digital and DTS outputs as well as component video, composite video and analog audio 2-channel outputs. The Sony DVPSR210P DVD Player also comes fully equipped with fast/slow playback and a sound feature that allows you to watch the scenes at your pace. The title/chapter viewer and picture navigation let you browse the scenes with ease. In addition, this Dolby digital DVD player has a multiple-disc resume, which allows for conveniently playback. As soon as you power on the player, it automatically goes where you last left off. The DVD Player includes a multi-brand remote control that can be used to operate your player and television from anywhere in the room. Also included are a reference guide, start-up guide and an AV cable.
Love this DVD player…it is lightweight and simple to connect to your tv. Remote has many options. One I like is that even after turned off I can go back to where I left off on a movie. Great buy!
I have yet to be disappointed with them
I got this as an Amazon Warehouse deal. I have yet to be disappointed with them. Everything works great and was labled as such. This was actually new and no issues. It is ready to go and easy to operate. This is the one we use for the kids movies. It plays well and we use it a lot. Was well worth the money and better than the walmart cheap ones that don’t hold up well. I have had this one since easter and it gets used daily since we do not have cable or anything.
Great for watching TV box sets
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother, and he raves about it. One feature I haven’t seen on any other DVD player — if you are playing a DVD, remove it to play another one, then put the first one back in, it remembers where it left off.
A little bit slow on response to the remote, but all in all a good deal!
I ordered this as a replacement for a unit that finally just stopped working. Same make and model and since the first one lasted for a few years, I thought I’d replace it. It isn’t exactly the same, in that it works slower than my other unit did. By that I mean that everything seems to take a second or two longer to react. When ejecting a DVD, when it turns on, when I hit the play button – everything seems to be slower. Unfortunately, the other unit won’t turn on, so I can’t compare them side by side. It works fine, it was easy to hook up, all the cables I needed were there. It turns on, plays well, the buttons on the remote all work well. I can’t really say too much negative about it. I’m pleased that it works as well as it does for a refurbished unit and the only thing I can complain about, if you could call it a complaint, is the slowness in the response of the unit to the remote.
Like new. I haven’t used it much but no …
Item on time. Like new. I haven’t used it much but no problems. I’m old and electrically challenged and this unit will do many things beside play which I don’t understand but basic function is fine I don’t
Good DVD player for the price
I bought this DVD player to replace my old UNO multiregion player that died recently. I initially plugged in one of the outlets with the wrong cord, so I had issues with the sound until I figured out what I did wrong. This is a very decent little DVD player for the price, and I look forward to using it. The only thing that would be better would be if it were multi-region (like my old UNO), but that’s a minor thing really.
Like any good millennial
Like any good millennial, I found myself at a loss when I brought home a First Aid certification DVD and realized I had absolutely no way to watch it. (Who has a DVD player anymore, anyway?) This one was cheap enough that I felt like it was worth having for those rare occasions when you actually have a need to watch something that isn’t streaming. I have never bought anything refurbished before, but I took a chance and had no problems at all. It worked fine out of the box and does everything I need it to do, which is pretty much just play DVD’s from time to time. (Bonus: it is also a CD player, which is something else I don’t have outside of my car.)
