This glasses model is TDG-BT400A with TDG-BT500A package box , exactly the same as TDG-BT500A .
because TDG-BT400A come with TV together , and TDG-BT500A is for resale , in order to distinguish them from different sales channel , Sony name them with 2 model number for their convenience , but they are exactly the same .

this only works for :
US:KDL-46W900A / KDL-55W900A / KDL-65W850A / XBR-55X850A / XBR-65X850A
AU:KDL-46W900A / KDL-55W900A / KDL-65W850A / KD-55X8504A / KD-65X8504A
UK:KDL-40W905A / KDL-46W905A / KDL-55W905A / KDL-65W855A
DE:KDL-40W905A / KDL-46W905A / KDL-55W905A / KDL-65W855A
this doesn't work for 2010~2012 Sony TV !

The TDG-BT500A/TDG-BT400A work great with the Sony XBR-55X850C (2015 version).

After purchasing and failing to gain compliance with a Sony compatible pair of glasses, I purchased two TDG-BT500A/TDG-BT400A 3D glasses. Don’t let the difference between the 500A and 400A fool you. They are one and the same pair of glasses. Sony used different names to differentiate between the packaging and inventory tracking of each. No matter, the first thing is to register the glasses. Follow directions, registration is an automated process. I registered the glasses on my XBR-55X850C. Make sure Bluetooth is on, and the picture/display 3D setting is set to 3D side by side (Top-bottom) may also work. I had my Sony Blu-ray 4K UHD upscaling 3D devise on; the 3D setting was set to automatic.

Good Active 3D Sony Glasses – Good Price – Buy a few extra for a great 3D movie night

I needed 3D glasses for my Sony TV. These are the best, compatible ones available. The glasses I received came without the individual boxes but they were packed two together in a foam sheet, and inside, individually packed in a plastic bag. They appear to be brand new, with the little plastic insert to prevent the battery from being drained. The glasses were free of any signs of wear and tear, and there were no scratches on the lenses. I tested each pair, and they all worked with my TV without any problems. The price from this company was far better than anywhere else. They retail for about $50.00 / pair. This company shipped them out promptly, and they were packaged adequately for protection.

These work great with the newer Sony 3D

These work great with the newer Sony 3D, however I purchased thinking this was a multi-pack, very deceptive picture. The way it happened is the multi-pack I had ordered was out of stock and this was below along the right side of the screen with the same multi-pack picture showing up as in stock….The only reason I kept them is because the nose guard fit my wife’s small nose really well. I ordered additional glasses from a different company that are also re-chargeable for a much better price.

Good 3D Glasses but lack instructions.

I recently purchased a Sony XBR75X850C 4K / 3D LED TV. Although the XBR75X850C is 3D capable there are no glasses included with the TV. So I ordered two pair of the TDG-BT400A 3D glasses.

I have a 75″ Sony 2015 model and the glasses worked great once sync’d to the TV. No instructions on how they work or operate. Went to Sony’s website and got the manual. I gave it a 4 star because no instructions. Very simple to operate and the picture is amazing. We watched the newest Star Trek movie in 3D at home WOW very cool. Ordered some more movies in 3D.
